Blow-drying :
Blow-drying :
Involves using a dryer and brush. Roll hair around a circular brush getting it tight at the roots.
Attach a directional nozzle to the dryer and aim the dryer straight at the roots. Rotate the brush gently as you dry each section. Let each area cool for 30 seconds before removing brush. Work through the head, section by section, in the same way.
Gel Drying :
Gel drying is best for shorter styles. Coat fingers with gel and run through hair to distribute evenly. For maximum movement, with height and width, lift hair and aim dryer at the roots. Make sure the ends are dry but where you're holding the hair nearer the roots should be left damp. This gives lift with a texturized outline.
Natural finger-drying :
Natural finger-drying creates soft waves. Apply mousse or gel and comb hair into desired style. Allow to dry naturally, tousling and loosening the hair as it dries. Finish with a little wax.
